Project Overview

Solvedex is looking for a Mid-Level WordPress Developer for a fixed-cost, single project engagement.

This project consists of building a website based on an existing design and template. All text content, images, and required resources will be provided. The developer will focus on implementation, customization, and ensuring quality delivery.

The project duration is limited to a maximum of one month.

 While this is a project-based role, there may be potential for future collaboration or full-time opportunities based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a WordPress website based on an existing design and template
  

• Implement provided content (text, images, media, assets)
  

• Customize theme elements as needed
  

• Work with WPBakery to build and structure pages
  

• Ensure responsiveness across devices
  

• Optimize website performance and loading speed
  

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility
  

• Apply WordPress security best practices

Required Qualifications

Primary Requirement – Strong WordPress Experience

• 3–5 years of hands-on WordPress development experience
  

• Strong experience with:

  • Custom theme customization

  • Plugin customization

  • WPBakery (required)

  • WordPress CMS configuration
    

• Solid knowledge of:
  PHP
  HTML5 & CSS3
  JavaScript
  MySQL
  
  

• Experience optimizing WordPress performance
  

• Understanding of WordPress security best practices
  

• Experience working within pre-designed templates

Additional Technical Requirements

• Experience with Git for version control
  

• Basic knowledge of Node.js (nice to have)
  

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
  

• Experience with Docker is a plus
  

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines is a plus
  

• Experience working in Agile environments
