Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior SDET to design, build, and maintain the automated testing infrastructure that keeps our products reliable, scalable, and high-quality. This role combines strong hands-on automation engineering with a deep quality mindset, covering both functional and automation testing responsibilities. You will work closely with development, product, and QA teams to design robust test strategies for complex, heavily integrated systems, and to embed quality throughout the full CI/CD pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Framework Development

• Design and implement build and test infrastructure, enforcing strong engineering practices.

• Build out automated testing infrastructure to support reliable, scalable, high-quality products and services.

• Design and build a scalable, maintainable, and flexible automation test framework.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality assurance.

Quality Engineering & Strategy

• Evaluate product quality for external and internal products.

• Design test strategies by analyzing and dissecting complex, heavily integrated software systems.

• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures, covering both manual and automated testing.

• Investigate root cause of issues to find the most comprehensive and robust solutions.

• Work on problems across multiple areas, including caching optimizations.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Participate in the design and implementation of test infrastructure to support Continuous Deployment.

• Conduct research and build Proof of Concepts for new testing technologies, tools, and concepts.

• Work collaboratively with fellow SDETs to build true end-to-end automation solutions.

• Collaborate closely with product, project, and development teams to identify and resolve technical, business, and process-related issues.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer / SDET.

• Level B2 - C1 in English (strong written and verbal communication).

• Strong skills in QA automation tools such as Selenium, and API testing tools such as Postman and RestAssured.

• Strong experience with the Functionize tool.

• Experience working with Java, Selenium, and TestNG.

• Strong manual testing techniques and strategies, with a high focus on quality assurance.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Sprint, Scrum) and Continuous Integration.

• Focused, dependable, detail-oriented, and hands-on — able to complete tasks quickly and thoroughly.

• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).

• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for deliverables.

• Strong experience in the e-commerce domain.
