About the Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to join a fast-growing startup targeting the U.S. market, with a strong focus on LinkedIn as a key growth channel.

This role is ideal for someone who combines creative thinking with analytical skills, enjoys testing, optimizing, and scaling what works, and wants to have a direct impact in building the brand and generating demand.

Your goal will be to bring the brand’s social presence to life, manage organic channels, and support LinkedIn Ads campaigns, all within an agile environment that values ideas, experimentation, and measurable results.

What You’ll Do

Social Media Strategy 

  • Support social media strategy aligned with the startup’s growth goals.

  • Adapt messaging, storytelling, and formats for U.S. audiences, with a focus on LinkedIn.

  • Plan and manage monthly content calendars to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

Content Creation & Publishing

  • Create, publish, and optimize content for LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), and other relevant channels.

  • Write clear, natural English copy tailored to conversions and engagement.

  • Use tools like Canva or Photoshop to produce effective visuals.

  • Test and optimize content formats (posts, carousels, short-form video, thought leadership).

  • Edit and produce short-form video clips for social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).

  • Turn long-form content (podcasts, interviews, webinars) into engaging short clips.

  • Add basic captions, text overlays, hooks, and visual pacing optimized for social platforms.

LinkedIn Advertising 

  • Execute and optimize LinkedIn Ads campaigns under marketing guidelines.

  • Set up basic campaigns: objectives, audiences, formats, and budgets.

  • Collaborate on copywriting and creative for ads.

  • Monitor key metrics: CTR, CPC, CPL, and engagement.

  • Suggest optimizations based on performance (A/B testing, audience tweaks, creative adjustments).

Community & Brand Presence

  • Manage interactions and messages on social media.

  • Build a professional, authentic, and consistent brand presence.

  • Identify conversation opportunities, feedback, and relevant trends.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Analyze social media and LinkedIn Ads performance.

  • Prepare simple monthly reports with actionable insights.
    Adjust strategy and execution based on data and learnings.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related fields.

  • 3–5 years of experience in Social Media Marketing.

  • Prior experience working remotely or with startups/foreign companies, ideally targeting the U.S. market.

  • Hands-on experience executing LinkedIn Ads campaigns (not just theoretical knowledge).

  • Hands-on experience editing short-form video content (mandatory).

  • Experience with podcast-related content or long-form content repurposing is a strong plus.

  • Certifications in LinkedIn Ads or Paid Media are a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).

  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

  • Short-form video editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Descript, or similar).

  • Good understanding of organic and paid performance metrics.

  • Ability to work with basic design tools (Canva, Figma).

  • General knowledge of paid social and integrated campaigns.

  • Ability to write effective copy for U.S. B2B audiences.

  • Understanding of professional tone and LinkedIn expectations in the U.S.

  • Advanced English B2 - C1 written and conversational.
